Aretries can block either due to blood clot or accumulation of fat deposits in the inner lining of blood vessel. Clot can occur anywhere in the body and travel to brain through bloodstream or clot can form in the brain itself.<\/span><\/p>\n

When the blood vessel that carry oxygen to the brain cells is blocked, the cells get deprived of oxygen and may eventually die.
